Fashion,

My Handbag Collection

Hi, my name is Gabriella Michin and I am a bagaholic. Listen, the first step in recovery is acceptance. I still have a long way to go, but I don’t think I’m going to be so successful because I’m already on the hunt for my next bag. For as long as I could remember, I have been in love with bags. I think that a nice bag could seriously upgrade any outfit to the next level.

My obsession started a while back and has continued to grow throughout the years. I remember even when I was in college, I would use either my Marc Jacobs ‘Crosby’ Nylon Tote or my Givenchy Nightingale Tote. Safe to say that I have definitely upgraded since my college days. I know that all these bags are pretty expensive, but they’re all bags that will be in style for a very long time and I will be able to get such good use of each and every one.

So here goes nothing, my bag collection:

1.Mark Cross ‘Grace’ Large Box

I like to call this bag my fashionable work briefcase. This bag makes literally every outfit seem so professional and put together because it looks like something a lawyer would walk around with. By the way, don’t let pictures fool you, this bag is huge and has so much space inside. The gold hardware is also super chic and really stands out. I really love the buckle at the top of the bag to open and close the bag, it’s such a cool and unique feature.

2.CHANEL Jumbo Double Flap Handbag in Black Caviar

I think that every single human walking this planet should own this bag. This bag forever and always will be the most iconic Chanel bag. Season after season, they continuously bring this bag back and I’m all for it. Right now, I have the bag with silver hardware and for sure thinking about getting it with gold hardware. Hands down one of the best bags I will ever own.

3.Saint Laurent College Large in Matelassé Leather

Like the Classic Chanel bag, this is YSL’s classic bag. Every season they make sure to release this bag in a bunch of new colors and textures. I got this bag because I was in desperate need of a good cream-colored bag. I was always scared to get a light-colored bag because of the fear that it could get stained, but it has done a pretty incredible job in keeping its rich cream color. It’s definitely one my go-to bags when I’m dressed in lighter colors.

4.Fendi Black & Brown Leather Kan I F Handbag

This is one of the newer bags in my collection. Fendi was making a huge comeback and I had to hop on the bandwagon. Don’t get me wrong, this bag is absolutely stunning, BUT sometimes it’s so hard to style. I really try my best to wear it as much as I could. Please tell me I’ve been doing a good job. One really cool thing about Fendi is that I could always buy a new strap to kind of change the look of the bag.

5.Goyard Goyardine Artois PM Tote

I have had this bag for quite some time now. I know I don’t really post a lot of pictures with this bag, but I could attest to the fact that I actually use this bag a lot. This bag is perfect for all things travel. The material is really soft and basically molds to anything you put in it. I shove literally anything I think I might need if I’m traveling.

6.Chanel Backpack in Grained Calfskin & Gold-Tone Metal

I’m pretty sure that my Chanel backpack will be one of the most special bags in my collection forever. My husband and I traveled to Paris and we walked into the Chanel store and I basically fainted when I saw this bag. For the rest of the day, the only thing I was talking about was this bag. I couldn’t get it out my head. When we went back to the hotel, I decided to take a nap before dinner. When I woke up, there was a huge Chanel box at the edge of the bed and lo and behold, it was the backpack I was dreaming about. I was so in shock at how well Marat pulled that off but thank god he did because it was the best surprise I could have ever asked for.

7.Saint Laurent Suede College Large Handbag

All my bags are leather, so I knew I needed a bag that had a bit more texture and the velvet feel of this bag definitely gave me what I needed. I really wanted a handbag like the Chanel Classic, but with gold hardware, but didn’t want to buy it just yet since I just bought the silver one. I think this was for sure a good alternative.

8.Celine Red Trotteur Bag

You have probably realized that I’m not the biggest fan of color. The more I looked at my bag collection, the more I realized that I really need a good pop-of-color bag. Sometimes, my outfits seem a bit dull to me, so I tend to grab this bag when I want to liven it up a bit. Red also seems to be a lot of your favorite color when I post either this bag of my red booties. Glad we are on the same page about this color.

9.Balenciaga Classic City Leather Tote

This bag is just one of those bags that everyone seems to have. It’s Balenciaga’s classic bag and happens to be almost everyone’s first designer bag and I for sure see why. Like the Goyard, this bag is big enough to throw in your computer and a bunch of other stuff to get you through a busy day. It also comes with a longer strap which I love. Also, a really cool trick, you could get a cool strap from Fendi and attach it to the bag to dress it up a bit.

Some of these bags aren’t sold online which sucks, but you could always go into their store and buy them there. Most of these bags are classic and should always be in stock in every boutique you run into. I really hope you guys get one of these bags and then we could twin!
