Fashion,

Living downtown NYC

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Hope you all have some super exciting & fun plans for the weekend. I realized, even though it’s been a only a month, that I’ve never really discussed how I like living in downtown NYC. I’ve lived most of my life on the Upper East Side, Murray Hill (I was young, gimme a break), Gramercy (hated) and Chelsea (which I adored). So minus the UES, I always lived downtown really but never below 20th street (not my choice, just happened).

When we found an apartment that worked for our needs in Battery Park City, I thought, “greaaat”. That’s a sarcastic great, btw. I really don’t know what I was thinking and why I had this notion that BPC was boring and only boring people liked it here (sorry BPC residents!). I have to say, I am really in love. This year, when we are searching to purchase an apartment in Manhattan, BPC is either first or at the very top of the list.

I’ve always been a downtown girl, but yah know, the cool spots…soho, noho, tribeca, village… BPC is so damn clean and quiet and beautiful but guess what? I can walk to the cool kids area in 5-20 minutes, and then come back to civilization! My dogs have a beautiful clean park. My hubs and I have clean parks and long romantic walks by the water 😉 Who can ask for more. So any of you wondering, I really do love it down here 🙂

RANT OVAH! Now I really wanted to do a photoshoot with what I wear on the regular. Anytime a photographer shoots me I just want to dress up so I tried super hard for you guys to just wear a normal everyday look and we shot 2 of these!

Here it is:
